  1. Connect your device to the cisco router network
  2. Navigate to IP address 
  3. Find your default IP address
  4. Enter the login details
  5. Configure the router or change its settings

To login to the Cisco router, first, you connect your device to a specific web browser. For that, it is essential to check your router is powered on. While making a connection, you can use either wifi or ethernet to connect the router. But preferred to use ethernet as a connection.

For ethernet connection, attached the cable to a port of your device. Where one of the ports is connected through wifi.

  1. Navigate to IP address

After making a connection, open your browser and enter the default IP address  192.168.1.1 in the address bar. The official link of this IP address is http://192.168.1.1

  1. Find your IP address

If you want to find the default IP address of your router then you have to use ipconfig scan as shown in the points given below:

  • First,  Click on the Start tab and enter ‘cmd’ in the search bar option
  • Select ‘Command Prompt’ to open the desktop screen
  • Type ‘ipconfig’  in the cmd and press enter key
  • Here, you find your router’s IP address just near to ‘Default Gateway’
  • Now, you can use this IP address in the address bar line to perform further operations.
  1. Enter the login details

After finding the IP address, enter the relevant login details on the login page of the screen. By entering username and password which are printed on the screen

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

If these login details don’t work, then you can also use the following details:

  • Username: Cisco
  • Password: Cisco
